If you have hair that gets dry like the Sahara then the LOC method is for you!
After hearing a couple of my features say they do the LOC method I decided to try it.
Now I did some looking around and I found that their are two was to do the this method,
I tried the leave in, oil, cream method and my cream was light weight but if I used one of my thicker homemade mixes I would have used only water. Now at first I was worried that it would be too much product on my hair and that it would be heavy but it wasn't at all. I washed my hair and then wrapped a T-shirt around it (a towel will steal to much moisture) instead of going straight to do my hair I got caught up in something on tv for about 20 minutes so my hair dried a little bit. I took my hair section by section and applied the leave in first, oil, then cream. I brushed the section with a denman brush to define my curls and distribute the product evenly then twisted up my hair. After I took my hair down it stayed moisturize for 3 days without me adding anything to it. Even when I had to reapply some cream and oil I only had to use a little bit.
I used shea moisture leave in conditioner, eden body works jojoba oil, and 4 naturals curl craze.

4 naturals Curl Craze Curl Lotion
When I went to a hair show there was a 4 naturals both and they had a deal that I couldn't refuse. In one box it had a detangling shampoo and conditioner, a deep conditioner , daily treatment leave-in, and the curl lotion for onlt $10!. Now the Curl Craze is for type 3 hair only so if you have type 2 or 4 this review isn't going to do anything for you but I do recommend trying their brand. If you aren't sure what your hair type is you can go on their website and find out (they have pictures to look at) and you can get the products specifically for your hair.
This product is light and gives a nice soft hold to my hair. I used this product on freshly washed hair when I tried the LOC method as my cream and it left my hair feeling amazing. It wasn't too heavy so it didn't weigh my hair down. I did the LOC method then did some flat twists, 6 rows in the front, 6 or 7 in the back. When I took them down I separated and fluffed and my hair was awesome and my curls lasted through the week with pineappling and only re-braiding once during the week. I would definitely buy this product again. I saw it once at Walmart but of coarse when I went back it wasn't there. It might be at Sally's but when in doubt just by it online.

Jason Tea Tree Oil Shampoo
My scalp gets very dry and I suffer from what I like to call "massive flake attack" syndrome aka dandruff. Ive tried dozens of things to make it go away even completely giving up shampoos, but my scalp builds up dirt and oil bad so my hair has to be washed occasionally. Along with oiling my scalp Jamaican black castor oil this shampoo helps out so much. It is one of the first organic sulfate free shampoo's to be on the market and it works wonders. When I wash my hair with this I make sure that I only put on my scalp close to my roots and scrub 4 individual sections (there is no need to wash the whole strand of hair conditioner can do that well enough for you). It smells like a tea tree oil shampoo and that is pretty god since most heavy duty dandruff shampoos stink (Ive tried T Gel shampoo and it works but it smells like a straight up tire). It keeps my scalp pretty clear of dandruff and I use it at least once a month or every other week. I purchased this at food lion in the organic section and it is about $9. Ive had the bottle for months now and you don't have to use a whole lot so you really get your monies worth. It is the only shampoo I will use now unless I run out and someone give a different one for free lol.
DIY Deep Conditioner/Protien Treament
So to start this topic off I first have to tell you guys what hair is made of so you will know why I'm slapping all this food in my hair.
Shaft - The hair shaft is made up of dead, hard protein called keratin in three layers. (Heather Brannon, MD The Biology of Hair)
So if you have ever wondered why people are always taking about protein treatments its because hair is made up of proteins.
Now there are actual protein treatments that you can buy at the beauty supply store but every review I have heard about those scare me. Girls always say they make your hair hard as a brick, you can't touch it when the product has hardened, and if you don't wash it all the way out your hair will fall out. Now the ladies who have the protein treatment game down pack really do have nice hair and great results but my anxiety just won't let me try it lol. So I turned to making my own with the one thing I really love in this world; food. I use one whole avocado(the softer the better), one whole banana, a cup of PLAIN yogurt, and some olive oil. I don't put an egg in mine because you only can wash it out in cold/cool water or else the egg will start to cook and I don't have time for that lol.
Here is why I chose my ingredients:
Avocados provide all 18 essential amino acids necessary for the body to form a complete protein.(So its great for eating too)
One medium sized banana has about 1 gram of protein.
The yogurt I use has 3 grams of protein in one cup and the yogurt is a great base for the mixture.
Olive oil is inexpensive, a great essential oil, and it gives the mixture great slip.
I blend all of these up in my blender until it is nice and smooth. If it doesn't seem smooth enough to you add more oil.
I then apply the mixture to my DRY hair, from root to tip, in sections combing it through (this is also detangling time. Once I'm done with the section I roll it up in a little ball and move on to the next one.Once I'm done with my whole head I put on a shower cap and I'm usually hungry after I finish and I go eat something lol. After I finish eating (about 15 or 20 minutes later) I rinse the product out. I take down the balled sections one by one and rinse it thoroughly with warm/hot water. After I rinse my hair I go back with conditioner making sure I try my best to not mess up my beautiful detangled curls because I'm definitely not going to detangle again.
The results are amazing and it makes my hair feel so great and refreshes my curls.
I don't do this on washed hair especially not shampooed because the food is more likely to get stuck in your hair. You can also strain the mixture but I'm always too lazy to do that lol.

EOS Shaving Cream
This is not a hair product clearly but one of my best friends put me on this so I had to share with you guys. As ladies with curly thick hair we are more prone to get razor bums and burns. There are ways to avoid this like getting waxed or not saving at all but lets face it, waxing hurts like hell and not everybody is for hairy areas.Well my roommate told me about this shaving regimen that she found online to help with fighting razor bumps. It includes shaving with EOS shaving cream then applying aloe vera gel to the shaved area after you get out the shower.
So here is my review on the shaving cream:
I purchased the pomegranate raspberry scented one, let me start of by saying it smells amazing! It is a thick cream vs a standard gel which is better for shaving if you suffer from razor bumps. EOS states that it will provide you with 24 hours of moisture and that you can shave either wet or dry and that "it’s enriched with skin protectants to help prevent nicks and razor bumps". One of its ingredients is shea butter and you guys know how much I love that stuff. The cream gives you a very good shave and leaves your skin super smooth. I bought it at Walgreen's for about $3.50 and I will probably never buy a different shaving cream again. Another plus is that it comes in a plastic container with a pump so it won't leave a rusty ring in the shower.
This product plus the aloe vera gel applied to the skin post shower is great on preventing razor bumps. I found my aloe vera gel in the sun screen section (I purchased the Walgreen's brand) and as you know or didn't know the aloe plant is great for soothing and treating burns.
I hope this helps you guys as much as it helped me!

Questions for me
With my growing blog I wanted to feature myself as a Happy Nappy because who wouldn't want to be featured on a blog write? But my boyfriend told me that I was being big headed and instead suggested that I have you guys ask me questions and I answer them, so here we are!
Question: How do you go about trimming split ends? If you have a salon in Gso, who do you trust?
Answer: Personally my hair grows faster when I keep it trimmed so I try to trim my ends every 2 to 3 months. Sometimes I trim my ends myself if I can't stand them and I do that my flat ironing my hair and as I flat iron each piece I trim about 1/2 an inch off. If I go to a salon I go to Leon's on Tate St. (Jordan cuts my hair) or the one in Friendly shopping center (Tiffany cuts my hair). The one on Tate was $20 last time I went and the one in Friendly was $30.
Question: What is your favorite style?
Answer: My favorite hairstyle is my big curly fro which I achieve with a messy braid out.
Question: Do you know of any foods/food items that promote healthy hair growth?
Answer: Over the summer I made smoothies every day and my hair and skin where the best they had ever been. In them I had; kale, spinach, broccoli, peaches, pineapple, yogurt, almond milk, and flax seeds. Anything with protein is also a plus because one of the components of hair is protein. I also went online and found some foods that are great for hair which are; salmon, walnuts, oysters, sweet potatoes, eggs, spinach, lentils, blueberries, and poultry.
Question: How do you handle bad hair days?
Answer: I throw my hair up in I high puff. If my hair is looking really dry I run my hair under some water really quick and throw some conditioner in my hair before I put it up in a puff.
Question: What is your curl pattern/hair type?
Answer: My hair is a mixture of 3C and 4A with 3B in the very back. I hate to type or catergorize hair though because you can get lost in trying to figure out your curl pattern when you really just need to focus on finding out what works best with your hair.
Question: What's the best way to manage your curls and work out everyday?
Answer: When working out you need to keep your hair out of your face so it won't bother you or come in contact with sweat. I personally put my hair up in a loose puff. If your hair isn't long enough to do that you can do a protective style like french braids or two flat twists while you work out. After you work out take your hair down and let it dry. I personally couldn't keep a protective style in after working out because I sweat buckets. You can put a sweat band, head band, or silk scarf around your edges to keep you edges from puffing up if you want. I kept my normal wash routine of washing once a week unless my hair just felt really dirty then I would do a quick conditioner rinse and braid my hair up for the night so I could have my fullness again for the next day.
Question: How do you take care of your hair:
Answer: I wash my hair every week using shampoo every two weeks. I use Jason Tea Tree oil shampoo and Say yes to the carrot conditioner (both items are found in the natural ingredient section of hair care products, sometimes by the skin car not the African American natural section). I detangle in the shower as I apply conditioner with a wide tooth comb. After I wash I let my hair air dry for as long as I can then I apply moisturizer as I am putting my hair in braids (my hair holds moisture better if I apply it to dry/damp hair rather than wet hair). I put about 7 or 8 braids in my hair I DO NOT COMB MY HAIR WHEN I'M DOING THE BRAIDS it manipulates my curl pattern. I take the braids out in the morning and separate each strand so my hair gets bigger and doesn't look braided. I hate a defined look. I braid my hair up about every two nights and pineapple in between I might detangle once in between washes if my hair is looking a little cray cray. I also spritz m hair with my spray bottle mixture to add moisture and to make my hair bigger.

Tranistioning
With the popularity of my blog growing (thanks guys!) I have been getting a lot of questions about transitioning so I decided to do a piece on it for you guys.
So you decided to cancel that last retouch appointment or you have thrown away that jar of motions that you have in your cabinet. First let me say congratulations! Second I must ask you are you sure and ready for the changes that are going to take place?
I'm not one to bash anyone who gets relaxers so if you get them and are happy with them then you do you boo! I just came to the realization that they weren't for me and I had my reasons for that. My reasons were because I got tired of paying tons of money to get relaxers done, I had a bad relaxer experience where I lost some of my hair, and I liked my natural curl pattern.
So first ask yourself this question: 1.Why are you going natural?
Please, please, please make sure you are doing this for you and not because all of your friends are doing it or because you saw someone who is natural and you want hair like theirs because you will be highly disappointed.
Now if you answer that question and you are ready then lets get to transitioning!
The first time I attempted to go natural was a mess I was growing out a short hair style so when my hair got curly it was really short and I just wasn't comfortable with it so I slapped a mild perm in it. YouTube videos weren't as popular they are now and products definitely weren't in abundance as they are now.
The second time around......
This attempt was way better. I transitioned for about 8 to 9 months. I flat ironed my hair most of the time because I had no idea how to deal with two textures.I did bantu knot outs a few times. YOUR TEXTURE WILL CHANGE A FEW TIMES. The more permed ends you have the more weight there is pulling down on your curls and kinks so they might seem looser than what they realty are at first.
I got a inch trimmed off my hair every 6 to 8 weeks until one day I had about an inch or two of permed ends left and i grabbed the scissors and cut the ends off myself. About a month later I straightened my hair and went to the salon so they could even my hair out.
Now I wish that I transitioned differently instead of straightening my hair. My advice that I would give to any future natural is to use the resources that are out there.YouTube needs to become your best friend. Bantu knots, braid and twist outs, twist and curl are all styles you should try.
Here are some of my personal favorite tutorials:
Try many products! As long as you stay away from products that contain harsh sulfates, mineral oil and petroleum you will be fine. You have to find what works good for your hair.Keeping your hair moisturized is a key thing to healthy hair so its ok to be a product junky. Here are some of my favorite products:
Whenever you moisturize you have to seal or lock in the moisture with an oil. Simply just apply the oil of your choice to your hair after you moisturize and there you go! Here are some of my fav oils. You can find some of them in the grocery store on the cooking oil isle.
Well that's all I can think of now if you have any questions just ask either on here, instagram, or by email at breanamelvin@gmail.com. Happy transitioning!

Childrens book review: Princess Truly and the Hungry Bunny Problem
Since I'm featuring kids this week I am doing something a little different for product views instead of a hair product I am doing a book spotlight.
The book Princess Truly and The Hungry Bunny Problem by Kelly Greenawalt
Amazon describes the book as:
Princess Truly and The Hungry Bunny Problem is a picture book for children, especially girls, ages 4-8. It's an enchanting tale about a clever, problem-solving princess with magical curly hair featuring the delightful illustrations of Amariah Rauscher.
This is a recent book that many mothers in the natural community love! The pictures are so cute and many young curly and kinky beauties can connect with the main character because she has hair like they do!
You can order this book on Amazon for about $10
You can find more great books for your princesses at the wonderful website chocolatehairvanillacare.com
Here is the direct link for their book list:

ORS Olive oil smooth-n-hold pudding
I recently had a job interview and I wanted to do something different with my hair so I could look fancy and I was also bored. I had just received interview feedback from Alyssa and I say where she talked about her perfect Bantu knot out on stretched hair and I tried it. The style came out perfect and that was because of the product that I used to help hold the style, ORS olive smooth n hold pudding. I used this product specifically because she used it on her hair in the video.
I got the product from Walmart and it was under $6 so I was really excited about the price! I used this product on dry super stretched hair so I only used a little bit on each section of hair that I did so my hair wouldn't curl back up (the product is rather wet) I just lightly dabbed three fingers in the product and that's it. A little bit goes a very long way. This product provided me with a great soft hold and it also smells great too! With you using such a small amount it will last you for a good while so you really get your bang for your buck.
The
photo on the left I used Cantu foaming wrap lotion for hold on a flexy
rod set on blow dried hair. The photo on the right I used the pudding to
provide hold with my bantu knot out.
The
pudding gives your hair great hold the whole day and your hair is still
soft. My hair did not get bigger and bigger as the day went buy like it
did with the foam lotion.

What's in your spray bottle?
If you have been natural for a while than you know all about the spray bottle. It is a staple in many naturals lives and it is key in adding moisture to your hair. Spray bottles usually contain two key thing which are water and your choice of oil (you have to have oil to seal in the moisture). Now you can add other things to it as well, Ive added aloe vera juice in mine once and that was pretty nice. So wanna know whats in my spray bottle now????
I have water, Aveno leave in conditioner, and Jamaican black castor oil.
I use my spray bottle to add needed moisture when my hair feels dry, to add volume to a twist out or braid out, and to refresh my hair after a nap when I'm lazy and don't put on a bonnet.
So whats in your spray bottle? What are some things you have tried that have worked great or not worked at all?
Lustrasilk Deep Penetrating Conditioner product review
**I
have to start this product review off with an apology to Lustrasilk. I
completely underestimated their brand. They are awesome.
I was in a terrible
situation, I ran out of all my products favorite products at the same
time and it was no where near pay day. My hair needed a wash badly and I
was all out of my Say Yes To the Carrot conditioner. So I went to my
product crate (a crate with every hair product I have in it). A couple
of months ago I went to a natural hair expo and I got some great
freebies and this was one of the freebies I received. I got a full jar
of this and their shampoo. It was one of my last things to try and here
were my reasons for me being silly and hesitant:
1.
It was a full free jar. Although I was glad to get a full jar of a
product then a sample pack of conditioner that will never be enough for
my hair I was worried that they were giving away full bottles because it
wasn't a great product.
2. It doesn't look like a typical natural hair product. The label wasn't colorful it didn't say all over it that it was free of sulfates and mineral oil and their was no character of a natural lady with big curly hair.
3. When I first saw the product in Walgreens (my natural product heaven) I thought it was for jerry curls. I could have sworn my granny had something called Lustra silk in her hair cabinet when I was a child.

So
I broke down and used it and guess what? I loved it! It is very thick
so it gives you a great slip for detangling. My hair will soak up
conditioners and sometimes not feel soft and moisturizer, well that was
not the case here. Even after the rinse out and air drying process (when
I have the time I let my hair air dry before I put anything on it) my
hair still felt wonderfully soft. The only thing I didn't like about
this product is the size of the container. It's rather small and if I'm
detangling I use a lot of conditioner so I used about half the jar on
the first wash. Other than that it is a awesome product!

Greenhouse effect
Greenhouse effect
Ok so everyone wants to have long hair (unless your rocking a shortcut) and we all know we need to be patient but that's a really hard thing to do. Well my friend text me the other day about something called the greenhouse effect challenge. I did some research and I was super excited to try it! Ok so leg me break down what I found:
The green house effect is a process that helps moisturize your hair and promote faster hair growth.
Now I've seen it done many ways but the two things that are consistent are a shower cap/plastic bag and putting it on at night or whenever you want to (you can use a headband to secure it) then put a bonnet or scarf over it.

While the cap is on heat and moisture will be created (just like the elementary school project you did with a seed in a closed container). When you take the cap off your hair will be damp or wet and should dry in about 15 minutes.
Now here is ways you can do it:
You can spritz with water, apply oil or apply nothing before you put the cap on.
I moisturize and oil my hair and scalp every other day and I started this on a day when I don't moisturize so I put nothing on my hair. When I woke up my roots were damp and very soft and dried in a good amount of time. If I ever do it for only 30 minutes I will spritz with my water and oil mixture.
You can do this as much as every day to as little as twice a week.
I chose to do it every other day. I read that some people who did it every day experienced "mushy" hair and actually had some hair loss so I would recommend at the most every other day.
I did this with my hair having a flat twist out on blown hair. I put about 7 chunky twists in my hair to help keep my flat twist style and shower capped it up! I secured my hair with a bonnet and scarf (I wanted to make sure it was secure). In the morning the first thing I did was take off everything and take down my twists. I did not separate each twist strand because my hair was damp. I went on with my morning routine and then I went back to my hair and separated. I was afraid my blown out look would be ruined bc of the wet moisture but it didn't! Here is how it looked.
The typical GHE challenge is 6 months so let's see how this goes!

Black Castor Oil
I so love this oil. It is one
of my favorites. It makes my hair so soft and I put it on areas of my
hair that are thin and I could definitely see it thickening up (I don't
have any before and after pictures I wasn't brave enough to save them
lol). This oil also is great at keeping dandruff away. It is very thick
so it won't run all down your face like some oils and a little goes a
long way. I apply this to my scalp by taking a medicine dropper (I got a
pack of two from Walgreens for $2) and squeeze it across my scalp and
gently rub it in. This product is also cost friendly. I bought this at
Sally's for $6.99 (I saw the same product at my local Asian hair store
and it was $11 smh). This is definitely a staple product for me!

Shea moisture hair color system
During the warmer seasons I
like to have some type of color in my hair so I had previously lightened
the front of my hair with a different hair coloring system and it left
my hair feeling like every other dye, waxy and frizzy. I decided that I
didn't want to use a regular permanent dye again on my hair even if I
go to the salon. Well I went to the salon and they had an ammonia free
dye but they quoted me $150 for the dye job and y'all know I'm broke so I
didn't schedule that appointment but luckily for me I found out that
same day that Shea Moisture came out with hair dyes so I was like
yesssss and I bought it. I wanted to get the best color outcome I could
so I washed my hair with shampoo to strip everything i had on my hair
off then i waited 24 hours (yes I looked rough for a day). This color
comes in a beautiful package first off and it has the option of applying
it with a bottle or with a brush, I felt like a hair dresser and this
wasn't my first dye job so I chose the brush. NOW
IF YOU HAVE VERY TIGHTLY CURLED/COILED HAIR THAT SOAKS UP PRODUCT YOU
WILL NEED TWO BOXES OF DYE! MY ROOMMATE DYED HER HAIR WITH JUST ONE BOX
AND SHE GOT FULL COVERAGE AND HER CURLS ARE LOOSER THAN MINE AND HER
HAIR IS ALMOST ARMPIT LENGTH. I started to run out of dye when I
got to my last portion of my hair and I wasn't able to go back and do my
roots (when you are dying your hair at home do the middle and end of
your hair strands first then go back and do the roots bc your roots take
the fastest to color bc its fresh hair). The shampoo, conditioner, and
oil that come with the dye are by Shea Moisture's repair line and they
are awesome. My hair felt so soft after I was finished and the color was
popping honey! It lasted for a good amount of time until I decided to
change my hair color again. I would so recommend this product to any
natural looking for a hair change on a budget!
Here is my results!
Bye Bye Dry Hair
I have very thick and curly hair and it soaks up anything I put on it then goes bone dry. Ive tried multiple moisturizers, none costing more the $10 because I'm broke, and they make my hair feel great when I first put them on but within a hour or two my hair is back dry. So one day I tried something that I saw on a blog and guess what it worked! So what magical thing did I do to keep my hair moisturized throughout the day??????
I added raw shea butter and extra virgin coconut oil. This is what I did
1. I started with my moisturizer of choice, Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie and the raw shea butter and extra virgin coconut oil.

2. I put some shea butter and coconut oil in a bowl and microwave it for about 30 seconds.(I used to melt it by putting it in a container and letting it sit in hot water but that takes a lot longer
3.I take it out and mix it together. The coconut oil will be almost or completely melted and the shea butter will be softened or a little melted.
4. I took half of the jar of the shea moisture and put in a container.
5. Finally I mix it all together until its nice and smooth.
I apply this to my hair with any style that i am doing and it keeps my hair moisturized and amazing!

Hair Crush rules
This
is Tracee Ellis Ross if you didn't already know. I have loved her hair
ever since I saw her on the show girlfriends. When I first started my natural hair journey I just knew my hair was going to
be like hers. I would watch YouTube videos with girls who had hair like
her, big loose bouncy curls. I would get very frustrated when my hair
didn't turn out like theirs and I would end up just hating my hair.
If
your not careful you can get very discouraged in your natural hair
journey obsessing over why your hair isn't like someone on YouTube or on
a popular blog. So here are a few tips I like to call Hair Crush Rules
for you to follow so everyone will be happy nappies :)
1.DON'T
crush over someone who doesn't have the same hair type as you. It is
just a waste of time. You can admire that persons hair but don't say to
yourself I wish my hair was like hers. Find a person with your hair type
or as close of a match that you can find.
2.
Find out how long your hair crush has been natural and be patient! If
your crush has been natural for like 7 years or all her life and you
only have been natural for 2 you just won't have hair like her for a
while. Even though it sucks you have to be patient. When you hit
multiple years of being natural your hair will rock and you will
probably be a crush too.
3.
Be realistic! If your crush is vegan works out every day and drinks
veggies and you love meat don't work out at all and hate water then
honey it will take you a while to get her length. Some people are very
dedicated to growing out their hair, if you aren't as dedicate then your
growth rate won't be as fast as theirs, your hair will still grow just
not as fast.
4.
LOVE THE HAIR THAT COMES OUT OF YOUR SCALP! Be your own hair crush. The
best thing a natural can have is confidence. A person can look
completely different when they feel like they got it going on. If you
aren't comfortable with your hair obsessing over a hair crush won't make
it any better.
This is my new hair crush Tabitha. I found her on blackgirllonghair.com in the 3C section. This is more realistic for me because she has a very similar curl
pattern and when I reach my 7 year mark like her I hope my hair is just as
fab as hers if not more. I still love Tracee's hair but I know that my hair
will never be like hers and I'm ok with that.
So take my rules and go happy hair crushing :)
Who are your favorite hair crushes?????

Cantu Shea Butter leave in conditioner
Ok so a lot of naturals love
this product and its all I heard about when I first started researching
natural hair products so of course i was super excited when someone gave
me a jar (I live for free things) I tried it as soon as I could. My
hair gets dry very easily and I knew a good leave in conditioner could
help out with that and i was hoping this was it. I put it on my hair
after washing and immediately I saw little white spots all over my hair.
My hair didn't absorb it at all. I stil was trying to give it a chance
hoping that it would dry clear like some products. I put a little Shea
moisture for hold and sealed my hair and did my usual braid out. The
next morning I took the braids out and the white residue was still there
and it was way worse and on top of that my hair felt like a used
brillow pad. I was running late for work so I had no time to wash it out
so I went the whole day touching my hair and making weird faces. As
soon as I got home I washed it out and its been sitting in my cabinet
ever since (I hate throwing almost full products away).
Was this product a epic fail for you too or is it a staple in your hair care routine?

Eden body works product review
I recently went to a natural hair expo hosted by return of
the curls (shout out to them for bringing it to my city) and my product
junky syndrome started to act up and one of the many things that I
bought were Eden body works curl defining creme and their jojoba moni
oil (with products only being $6 a pop it was hard not to buy the whole
table).
Curl Defining Creme: First off I asked the sales rep what was the difference between this and the pudding souffle and she said that the souflee is FOR WAVY HAIR and the creme is FOR CURLY HAIR.
I first used this on DRY HAIR (i got lazy after i washed my hair and
went to sleep) I did a braid out and it came out amazing. The product
smells great and isn't heavy at all and a little bit goes the long way.
It gives very good hold and makes my hair feel moisturized which is very
hard to do. I tried it again on damp hair with another braid out and
the results were even better. Its one of my new favorite products!
Jojoba monoi oil:
I have been looking for jojoba oil for a while because if you have
watched any youtuber they all love this so I was excited when I saw this
and for $6 because jojoba ain't cheap honey. I love this oil. I use it
to seal moisture and to add some life into my hair and makes my feel
sooooo soft. I is very light and it doesn't smell bad.

The big choice tranistion or big chop? Which one did you do?
Everyone has to make the choice I personally had no courage at all to rock the twa so i grew out my relaxer. I wasn't comfortable with my hair yet so i did a lot of flat ironing :( I would get about 1 to 2 inches cut every 3 months and after 9 or 10 months I cut off my ends. How did your natural hair journey begin? Were you courage the cowardly dog or were you as brave as a super hero?
